🇬🇧 English Story

In a forest, there lived two monkeys, Miku and Chiku.

Miku loved eating chocolates and chips found near the tourist spots. Chiku, however, loved eating fresh apples and bananas from the trees.

“Why do you eat boring fruits?” laughed Miku.

“Because they make me strong!” said Chiku.

One day, a big flu spread in the forest. Miku became very weak and had to stay in bed with a fever. The doctor said his body wasn’t strong enough to fight the germs.

But Chiku was happily jumping around because the healthy fruits protected him.

Miku promised to eat fruits every day from then on.

🇮🇳 অসমীয়া কাহিনী

এখন হাবিত মিকু আৰু চিকু নামৰ দুটা বান্দৰ আছিল।

মিকুৱে কেৱল চকলেট আৰু চিপছ খাই ভাল পাইছিল। কিন্তু চিকুৱে গছৰ সতেজ আপেল আৰু কল খাই ভাল পাইছিল।

মিকুৱে চিকুক জোকাইছিল, “তই এইবোৰ আমনিদায়ক ফল কিয় খাৱ?”

চিকুৱে উত্তৰ দিছিল, “কাৰণ এইবোৰে মোক শক্তিশালী কৰি ৰাখে!”

এদিন হাবিত বৰকৈ জ্বৰ-বেমাৰ বিয়পিল। মিকু বৰ দুৰ্বল হৈ পৰিল আৰু জ্বৰত বিচনা ল’ব লগা হ’ল। ডাক্তৰে ক’লে যে তাৰ শৰীৰটো বেমাৰৰ সৈতে যুঁজিবলৈ শক্তিশালী নহয়।

কিন্তু চিকুৱে আনন্দমনে জপিয়াই ফুৰিলে, কাৰণ সি খোৱা ফল-মূলে তাক ৰক্ষা কৰিলে।

মিকুৱে তেতিয়াৰ পৰা সদায় ফল-মূল খোৱাৰ সংকল্প ললে।
