The policy

Read by chapter

Choose a heading. The panel holds the chapter in view.

01 · Collection

How information is collected

A principle of minimal collection.

Personal details are taken only when you choose to send them – a name or an email address, whether by writing to the published address or by using the note form on the Contact page. That form opens a draft in your own mail application. Nothing from it is stored on this site.

The host may keep ordinary technical records of a visit (browser, time, pages). These are used to keep the site working. They are not used to build a personal profile.

02 · Use

How information is used

Only for the purpose you sent it.

A message is used to answer the enquiry. Technical records may be used to keep the site secure and to understand, in aggregate, how the pages are read. Personally identifiable information is not sold, rented, traded, or otherwise transferred to outside parties.

03 · Cookies

Cookies and other sites

No advertising trackers are placed here.

This site does not run advertising cookies. The host may set a technical cookie required to serve the pages. You may refuse cookies in your browser; some features may then be limited.

Links to Facebook, Instagram, X, WhatsApp, and Google Play open those services. What they collect, once you leave this site, is governed by their own policies – not this one. This site does not store data from those visits.

04 Retention

Retention and security

Kept only as long as the purpose requires.

A message kept in ordinary mail is retained only as long as needed to answer it, or as the law requires. Reasonable care is taken to protect information. No method of sending over the internet is perfectly secure, and absolute security cannot be promised.

05 · Rights

Your rights

You remain in control of what you have sent.

You may ask what personal data, if any, is held, how it is used, that inaccurate details be corrected, or that information you provided be deleted. You may also ask that there be no further communication. Write to the address on the Contact page.

06 · Updates

Updates to this policy

Changes will appear on this page.

This policy may be revised from time to time. The date below will change when it is. Please look here again if you return after an interval.

A short restatement

Ask only for what is needed, keep it only as long as the purpose lasts, and do not give it away.
